Take Control, Beautifully

With Slutwalk seemingly being the topic du jour in SA, there is hardly a better time to post this.

A while ago, a beautifully wrapped package landed on my desk. This, as always, excited me. But what was inside was particularly rad.

2 Love My Lips, which is a UK-based cosmetics company, has launched its lipgloss range in South Africa that lets women take control. 

Get this- 5 lip glosses, each a great colour and flavour, beautifully packaged, that don't leave your lips all dry and yucky. Pretty cool, huh?

But wait, there's more! [Sorry, I had to.]

Each gloss comes packaged with drink spiking tester strips. If you have that odd feeling that something just isn't right, all you need to do is drop a drop of your drink onto the two testing areas on the strip. If either of them turns blue, your drink has been spiked. Easy as pie! Put the drink down and leave the scummy cesspool in which you find yourself. Rather go have a nice cup of hot chocolate at home.

Rape is a very serious problem in South Africa. This might not solve all our problems, but it sure as hell could come in handy!
